Last week, Team WIT came together in Washington, D.C. for an unforgettable few days filled with impactful meetings, exciting NFL, NHL, and women’s soccer games, and meaningful in-person connections. Colleagues traveled from across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the UK to join forces in the nation’s capital.
We kicked things off in true summit fashion under the lights at Northwest Stadium for the Commanders vs. Bears Monday Night Football game. It was the perfect setting to catch up with coworkers, enjoy some classic stadium food, and soak in the game-day energy (literally!). For many, it was the first time meeting teammates in person — and what better way to break the ice than cheering side by side in the stands? The energy was high and set the tone for the week ahead.

Tuesday brought a packed agenda. We kicked off the morning with working group sessions where we welcomed new team members, tackled key operational topics, and brainstormed together during fun ideation breakouts. In the afternoon, we split into two groups for team-building activities — an escape room challenge for some and high-speed action at an F1 Arcade for others — before heading to Capital One Arena for suite seats at the Capitals vs. Lightning game. We got to enjoy the action alongside some of our amazing partners, which made the night even more special. And to top it all off? A WIT group photo at center ice after the game — the perfect way to capture a truly memorable night.

Wednesday started bright and early with the annual Women of WIT (WOW) breakfast celebrating our awesome ladies. From there, teams broke out into department sessions for valuable face-to-face time to work side by side and sync up on goals. Midday, teams headed out for lunch together (hello, bonding time), and we wrapped things up in style at Audi Field, cheering on Washington Spirit vs. Monterrey in the Concacaf Women’s Champions Cup.

We wrapped up the summit with a farewell toast celebrating the team’s hard work, the exciting road ahead, and the awesome connections that make WIT what it is. From great conversations and incredible games, to great food and even greater company — it was a summit to remember!
